He is considered a pioneer of day trading and wrote a book titled "How to trad in stocks"

Some criticize that he took the risks of leverage to seek large gains. It is true that at the time of his suicide, he was 63 years old and had liabilities greater than his assets.

In this context, it will be understandable that Warren Buffet is regarded as the greatest investor, who sustain the value investment. 

Anyhow, Livermore regarded stock trading of day trader as entrepreneur activities and  took a cautious approach to the effect of the emotion of stock trader.
