I decided to find a golf course in England, the homeland of golf. Upon entering the FOXHILLS golf course near London, the clubhouse like an old fortress welcomed us in a wonderful way. It was very impressive to me, who was only used to the modern clubhouse, and I thought that it was like the hometown of golf. This golf course was selected as one of the top 100 golf courses in the UK in 2015 and is said to be hosting a golf tournament soon.

When I went to the locker room to change clothes, there was a separate locker room for the members. When I followed the person who invited me to the membership locker room, it was nicely decorated and there was a shower room. Because it was ahead of the tournament, the management was very good, and the view from the 1st hole was very impressive. The janitor said that hole 1 is a wonderful hole to be featured on the calendar.

The fairway was made of kentuckey blue grass or its equivalent, so hitting the iron shot was very light. In a very calm state, most of the golfers were enjoying the weekend with a happy look, feeling the sunlight and the soft touch of the grass on foot while using a full carter. It was a wonderful time for me to take away stress from my heart  in the moderate temperature, just the right amount of sunlight, and the surrounding bushes and wide fairways.

After rounding the 27th hole, I took a shower and headed back to the membership restaurant. The chicken wings and omelette were very tasty. So, he said that this golf course was very popular with Koreans in London. Although this golf course is a membership golf course, it is also open to the general public, but it is said that they receive a rather expensive green fee from nonmembers.

It was prime time on a Saturday, so it was a bit crowded, but it wasn't too crowded. It was so peaceful and idyllic to see people of a reasonable level having a light meal while sitting in an outdoor restaurant, wearing sunglasses and talking with the surrounding green bushes and golf course in the background.

The surrounding is nature-friendly, and the parking lot is directly connected to the clubhouse without any boundaries, and the swimming pool, outdoor restaurant, and other resort facilities are conveniently arranged. I kept the beautiful and wonderful scenery in my heart, and I promised the next opportunity to revisit here and headed for another schedule.
